Drake OVO Fest

The official line-up for the 3-day OVO Fest event includes North Stars, which is an All-Canadian showcase on July 28th, Chris Brown and Lil Baby on July 29th, and a much anticipated Young Money reunion which will feature Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne on August 1st. Drizzy has stated that for the 2023 anniversary of the music festival, he’s working on taking it on a global tour “but of course we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!”

The announcement comes after much speculation as to when the festival would be making its return after the pop star hinted at its return during an online gambling site’s live stream recently. “Big announcement coming Wednesday for the city,” he said referring to Toronto of course.

Drizzy Eager To Get OVO Fest Going Again

“Appreciate everyone listening to the new album, embracing something that I wanted to do for a long time. I appreciate all the love,” the 6ix god said. “Means a lot to me that it’s been this many years, people still tuning in. Being open, showing a lot of love to different shit. I’m back going crazy though. I’m just letting you know right now, I’m in a different bag right now. I promise you. Scary.”

October World Weekend tickets go on sale today (July 15) at 10 a.m. Drake’s venue History will host the first night of the festival with various other venues across Toronto filling in from July 29 – August 1.

After years of a promised Young Money World Tour, fans will finally be able to witness it. The last OVO Music Festival was held in August of 2019 and then put on ice for the next two years because of the pandemic.
